Gifts of Healings
In this, the 3rd of this four part teaching series on: The Holy Spirit & His Gifts, we are discussing The 3 Power gifts (Gifts that do something).
The Gifts of Healing is one of the 9 Gifts of The Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians Ch 12 & we will discuss it next.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
Definition of Gifts of Healings: A Supernatural manifestation for the healing of sicknesses or diseases without any natural source or means. Doctors & Medical science are a natural means of healing! Gifts of Healings & other methods of divine healing are a Supernatural & not natural means of healing!
The gifts of Healing in Administration: Administered as the Holy Spirit wills anytime & anywhere *usually through an Individual that has received Christ, received The Baptism in The Holy Spirit, is living a Holy life & is submitted to the leading of The Holy Spirit. *(The Holy Spirit, Angels or Jesus can administer healing)
The gifts of Healings in Demonstration: *Normally, A Born Again believer who has asked for & received The Baptism in The Holy Spirit & this Gift will suddenly become aware of Gods desire to heal or touch an individual or a group of people. They may feel, sense, see, hear or have it revealed to them by any number of different means; Gods desire to heal. Divine healing can come through laying (placing) hands on someone & transferring a tangible anointing, anointing someone with oil or by verbally calling out the healings so that healing can be received as God directs.
The gifts of Healings in Accomplishment: An individual or group of people will see a positive change or turn around in their physical condition involving either sickness or disease. The end result is there is a release & a receiving of Supernaturally manifested healing.
Biblical Examples of Gifts of Healings: Peters Mother in-law – Mark 1:30-31, 6:5, 6:13, Mathew 4:23, 14:14, 19:2, 21:14, Luke 5:15, 9:11, 22:51, Acts 5:16
The Gifts of Healing is a Good Gift & is to be received Luke 11:9-13 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that
asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

The definition of The *Working of Miracles is: A Supernatural intervention by God in the everyday ordinary course of nature. *It should be noted that there is a “work or working” involved in this gift & not simply a receiving of miracles. The key to The working of Miracles is “Whatever he (Jesus) says to you, do it” !
The gift of The Working of Miracles in Administration: Administered as the Holy Spirit wills any time & any where through an Individual that has received Christ, received The Baptism in The Holy Spirit, is living a Holy life & is submitted to the leading of The Holy Spirit.
The gift of The Working of Miracles in Demonstration: An Individual will have it communicated to him/her through various revelatory means that God desires to work a Miracle & desires to use them to help work it or bring it about by God using their faith & or obedience. There is always an action involved on the part of the person being used to work the Miracle. Jesus first Miracle; The verse spoken by Mary is Key! “Whatever he (Jesus) says to you, do it” !
The gift of the Working of Miracles in Accomplishment: If an individual hears from God & acts on the instructions given to them, the end result will be the actual physical accomplishing of The working of a Miracle.
Biblical Examples of The Gift of The Working of Miracles: Turning the water into wine – John 2:1-11, 6:9-14, 21:6-8 & 11, Matt 14:17-21, 6:5-14, 1 Kings 17:8-16, 18:38, 2 kings 2:14, 4:1-7, 6:5-7, Exod 7:10, 8:16-18, 14:9-12, 14:15-31, Acts 5:1-10, 6:8, 15:12 & 19:11

Definition of The Gift of Faith (also called Wonder working faith & Special Faith): The God given supernatural ability to (passively) receive a Miracle or Miracles. *Note – this is not the normal or common kind of everyday Faith that a believer has & can increase by praying & reading the Bible. It is not the (Romans 10:17) growing in your Faith – kind of Faith!
The gift of Faith in Administration: Administered as the Holy Spirit wills any time & any where through an Individual that has received Christ, is living a Holy life & is submitted to the leading of The Holy Spirit.
The gift of Faith in Demonstration: A Born Again believer will all of a sudden passively receive; a Supernatural manifestation of mountain moving faith or a Miracle in order to accomplish Gods plans & purposes. It can come through various Supernatural means, will be passively received, can be continuously sustained & will result in powerfully accomplishing Gods will.
Biblical Examples of The Gift of Faith: Daniel in the lions Den – Dan6:23, Mark 4:38, John 11:39, 1 Kings 17: 3-6, 19:4 & 6Exod 34:28,
